I think there is a lot of truth in that statement. The quota, the constant need to move the ball forward, and the never-ending 13-week cadence that always leaves you feeling like the guillotine could be dropped at any moment. I don't think it's how our brains were wired. No doubt it gets results for the company, but what is the personal cost?
